- Administrative Structure
SWRCA has a well-defined administrative structure that ensures professionalism, accountability, and effective coordination at both national and provincial levels. The structure is designed to meet international NGO standards and to support transparent governance, efficient management, and quality program delivery.
1. Governance – Steering Committee
At the top of the structure is the Steering Committee, which provides overall strategic direction, oversight, and guidance. The Committee ensures that all activities are aligned with SWRCA’s bylaws, mission, and vision, while upholding the principles of neutrality, accountability, and transparency.
2. Executive Leadership – Executive Director
The Executive Director serves as the chief executive officer of SWRCA, responsible for leading the organization, implementing the decisions of the Steering Committee, and ensuring overall coordination between central, main, and field offices.
3. Offices and Geographic Presence
Central Coordination Office – Kabul: Handles national-level coordination with government institutions, donors, and international partners.
Main Office – Herat: Serves as the operational hub for program management, finance, and administration across the Western Region.
Provincial Office – Farah: The founding office of SWRCA, where initial activities were launched and continue to be implemented.
Field Offices – Badghis and Ghor: Support program implementation, beneficiary engagement, and field monitoring.
Through this network, SWRCA ensures strong field presence while maintaining effective coordination with national and international stakeholders.
