Teacher Training Project (Canada Fund)
In 2007, the Services of Women Relieve Center – Afghanistan (SWRCA), in partnership with the Canada Fund, implemented a Teacher Training Project in Quita, Pakistan. The project aimed to strengthen the capacity of teachers to provide high-quality education for both girls and boys.
Objectives

To enhance teaching skills and pedagogical methods among teachers.

Activities

Training Sessions: Trained 240 teachers over a 6-month period in areas including pedagogical methods, curriculum adaptation, classroom management, and inclusive education strategies.

Capacity Building: Focused on equipping teachers with practical skills to improve student learning outcomes and engagement.

Community Engagement: Encouraged teachers to apply best practices to strengthen trust and confidence in schools among parents and the broader community.
