Advocacy, Policy & Capacity Building
The Service Women Relieve Center for Afghanistan (SWRCA) actively engages in advocacy and policy dialogue to promote systemic change and ensure sustainable, long-term impact. By influencing policies and strengthening institutions, SWRCA works to create an enabling environment where vulnerable populations are protected and communities can thrive.
Key initiatives include:
-
Evidence-Based Research and Assessments: SWRCA conducts thorough research and community assessments to generate accurate data and insights that inform policies and programmatic decisions at local and national levels.
-
Advocacy for Inclusive Policies: We advocate for policies that protect the rights of women, children, and other vulnerable populations, promoting equality, justice, and social inclusion across Afghan society.
-
Institutional Capacity Building: SWRCA strengthens the capacity of local NGOs, community-based organizations, and networks, equipping them to deliver services effectively, transparently, and sustainably.
-
Leadership and Governance Training: We provide training for community leaders, youth, and women to enhance their leadership skills, governance knowledge, and ability to participate meaningfully in decision-making processes.
Through these initiatives, SWRCA contributes to stronger institutions, improved governance, and inclusive policy-making, ensuring that development is sustainable, equitable, and responsive to the needs of all community members.
