Health, Nutrition & WASH

Healthy communities form the foundation of sustainable development. The Service Women Relieve Center for Afghanistan (SWRCA) works to improve access to essential health services and promote healthy practices, particularly in underserved and remote areas. By addressing both immediate health needs and long-term preventive measures, SWRCA contributes to stronger, more resilient communities.

Key initiatives include:

  • Awareness Campaigns on Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health: SWRCA conducts educational campaigns to inform communities about essential health practices, safe pregnancy care, and child health interventions, fostering healthier families.

  • Nutritional Support: Targeted programs provide nutritional assistance to children under five and pregnant or lactating women, helping to combat malnutrition and support optimal growth and development.

  • Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Programs: We improve access to safe drinking water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene promotion, reducing the risk of preventable diseases and promoting community health.

  • Mobile Health Services and First-Aid Training: SWRCA delivers mobile health services and trains local volunteers in first aid, ensuring that even remote communities have access to timely care and lifesaving interventions.

Through these integrated efforts, SWRCA enhances health outcomes, reduces preventable illnesses, and promotes dignity and wellbeing across communities, laying the foundation for sustainable development.
