Child Protection & Gender Equality
The Service Women Relieve Center for Afghanistan (SWRCA) is dedicated to safeguarding children from harm and ensuring that gender equality is systematically integrated across all programs. By addressing the barriers that limit the rights and potential of women and children, SWRCA creates an environment where every individual can thrive safely, equitably, and with dignity.
Key initiatives include:
-
Campaigns Against Child Labor, Early Marriage, and Gender-Based Violence (GBV): SWRCA raises awareness and implements preventive measures to protect children and vulnerable populations from exploitation, abuse, and harmful practices.
-
Child-Friendly Spaces and Psychosocial Support: We establish safe spaces where children can learn, play, and access psychosocial services, promoting their emotional well-being and holistic development.
-
Empowering Women and Girls: SWRCA supports equal access to education, healthcare, vocational training, and livelihood opportunities, ensuring women and girls have the skills, resources, and confidence to participate fully in society.
-
Advocacy for Women’s Rights and Inclusion: Through awareness campaigns, community engagement, and policy dialogue, SWRCA promotes women’s participation in decision-making, strengthens gender-sensitive practices, and challenges societal barriers to equality.
Through these efforts, SWRCA creates protective, inclusive, and enabling environments where children and women are empowered to grow, learn, and contribute free from violence, discrimination, and inequality.
